Based at Bodger Park in Hawthorne, the Bodger Sports Club Mustangs turn playing fields into a real community center on weekday evenings and Saturdays for more than 1,000 kids. The soccer, baseball and softball programs attract over 300 boys and girls with their families to the club.     Boys and girls also get the opportunity to play basketball during the winter months in the gym at nearby Alondra Park. Many parents and park volunteers stay active as coaches and mentors. The advisory board is working hard to register participants, organize teams, and provide the youth in the surrounding area a top notch opportunity to compete.
