KIS opened up shop at Evergreen in 2005 and the growth has been amazing ever since. Initially opened as an opportunity to increase softball participation, the club has expanded to support the existing baseball and basketball programs as well as offer new seasons of sport in volleyball and soccer. KIS, in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and local volunteers, is assisting and leading as the community seeks to continue this growth and serve even more youth in the East LA area. Moving forward, the club looks at developing an even greater partnership with other local parks and the Pecan Sports Club, its’ closest sports club neighbor.
